In order to implement its ambitious M&A strategy, Aareon acquired several companies in the last financial year – thus further expanding the product portfolio for its clients and opening up new market segments.

The six M&A transactions in which 100% of the shares were acquired are:

GAP-Group

GAP-Group is one of the leading manufacturers of sector-specific enterprise software in the housing and property industry. Its range of services comprises in particular the modern immotion ERP system for meeting all the commercial and technical management requirements of housing companies. It also offers a specific range of IT, organisation and management advice and services.

Strategic added value for Aareon: extending the range to include the sector-specific immotion ERP software as well as cross-selling potential for the Aareon Smart World digital solutions.

wohnungshelden

wohnungshelden specialises in digital housing brokerage. The proptech has developed a cloud-based solution with which housing companies and cooperatives can digitalise their entire rental process, from marketing a property through the management of viewing appointments for interested parties, right through to concluding agreements.

Strategic added value for Aareon: expanding the portfolio of products to include the digital rental process in Germany.

Arthur

Arthur Online offers a modern, cloud-based SaaS solution that was developed to boost efficiency with innovative end-to-end solutions. To achieve this, it brings together property managers, owners, tenants and contractors on one single platform.

Strategic added value for Aareon: developing the market segment for software solutions for small and medium-sized property managers in Great Britain.

Tilt

In July 2021, Arthur Online acquired Tilt, one of the first proptechs for property management software on the British market. With three individual platforms – Origin, Elevate and Affinity – Tilt offers a comprehensive, web-based software package to small and medium-sized property managers, brokers and social housing companies.

Strategic added value for Aareon: further expansion of the position in the market segment for small and medium-sized property managers in Great Britain.

Fixflo

Fixflo is a SaaS repairs and maintenance platform that connects property managers, owners and tenants to handle the repairs and maintenance management of more than one million apartments throughout Great Britain.

Strategic added value for Aareon: expanding the market position and product range in the segment for software solutions for small and medium-sized property managers in Great Britain.

TwinQ

Twinq is a software provider (SaaS) for residential property management in the Netherlands. Twinq is used by managers of residential owners’ associations and by the owners themselves, thanks to the extensive offer of web-based customer portals that help reduce the administrative burden linked to strict regulations.
